The Founders Story
George is a business strategist, coach, trainer and speaker with over 30 years of experience in hospitality, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Having trained tens of thousands of professionals on mindset, business growth, travel and team leadership, George is passionate about helping individuals and companies reinvent themselves, and build businesses and teams aligned with meaning, purpose, and passion.
From working in restaurants from the age of 15, to working with international global brands like Marriott International and Inter Continental Hotels Group, to helping shape and grow a billion-dollar travel brand— George has experienced first-hand what drives long-term success and what quietly erodes it.
George was pivotal in launching a US travel agency to Europe; led the Europe, Middle East and Africa branch team as Vice President, with $20m annual travel sales, built multiple family businesses, and coached others to do the same through clarity, structure, and focused strategy.
In 2020, George and his wife Ariadni launched Elysian, a multiple award-winning plant-based restaurant born from purpose and vision. But Elysian was never just about food, it was about transformation.
That same spirit lives through Elysian Business Consultants, where George and his team work with entrepreneurs, family business owners, and hospitality leaders to create more than just profit — to build aligned, resilient, and impactful businesses.
George is also the founder of The Business Mentor Podcast, a show designed to inspire and empower entrepreneurs, business leaders, and hospitality and travel professionals – sitting down with visionary founders, industry experts, and creative entrepreneurs to discuss growth strategies, leadership lessons, marketing insights, and the personal journeys that shape their success.
